In these pandemic times,
we are replacing our annual Holiday Party Raffle
The auction ends Weds Dec 2 at 5pm
Winners will be announced at the MQSC Holiday Zoom meeting on Dec 2
Click the link above or HERE to view the 20 fabulous "baskets" up for auction. Anyone can view the items but an account is required to place a bid. The process to set up an account is quick - very little information is required.
An account for bidding also makes it possible for MQSC to communicate with bidders and winners during and after the auction.
To Set Up An Account to Bid - On the auction site, click "View All Items", then click "create an account". Provide the information requested. Follow the instructions in the email that is sent to finish creating an account.
About Bidding - It is possible to place an Exact Bid (a one time bid amount) or a Proxy Bid. Proxy bidding places bids on your behalf at the lowest possible increments. Simply enter your Maximum Bid - the highest amount you are willing to pay. The goal of proxy bidding is for you to win the auction at the lowest possible price.
The auction system will automatically send the following notifications via email to keep participants and active bidders aware of bidding activity for items they are interested in:
auction item changes (items with bids)
watchlist notifications (items chosen by participants)
auction ending changes (date and/or time)
auction ending notification (24-hour notice)
winning bidder notification (when online bidding has ended)
Winning Bidders with delivery/pick-up within Sonoma County - You will receive an invoice via email from MQSC for your winning bid amount. You can pay the invoice with a credit card or you can arrange with the Fundraising team to pay either by cash or check when arranging the delivery/pick-up of your items.
Winning Bidders having items shipped/mailed - You will receive an invoice via email from MQSC for your winning bid amount AND a second invoice for shipping/insurance. Once paid, the MQSC Treasurer will notify the Fundraising team and they will ship your items and send an email with tracking information.
The Spring Fundraiser - cancelled until further notice
Each year the Moonlight Quilters of Sonoma County holds a Spring Fundraiser.
The Spring Fundraiser typically takes place on the third Wednesday of April during the regular meeting time.
The last few years we have hosted a Fabric Sale. This has been a great way for individuals to clean out their drawers and closets and pass along quilt related items and fabric from their stash.
This Fundraiser is a fun way for the Guild to make a bit of money to help meet expenses.
