GIVING BACK
Giving Back Through Sewing
We transform our sewing skills into community service. Our members create Community Quilts for at-risk populations, support organizations such as Days for Girls, the Linus Project, or crafting aprons for Aprons for Autism spreading comfort and hope throughout our community, one stitch at a time.
Community Quilts—Making a Real Difference
Each year, our guild creates approximately 120 adult and baby quilts for at-risk populations throughout Sonoma County. Members and local merchants donate fabrics, while our quilters contribute their skills and time to complete each project.
We accept finished quilts year-round and present them to recipient organizations during our August business meeting "Fashion Show" The representatives often share meaningful stories about how these quilts impact the people they serve.
Whether you contribute fabric, piece tops, quilt, or bind, you're helping provide comfort to those who need it most. It's community service that makes a tangible difference.
