Map Maker - Valery Goodwin

Description

Use a combination of hand and machine stitching, along with silk organza, opaque fabrics, and a touch of paint to create a map of a special place for you. You'll design a small fiber art map. You'll also learn how to use online resources to find maps to serve as a creative starting point. Because this class will require students to have a map of their chosen favorite place on hand, some pre-planning and communication with the instructor will be required.
