Each month, the Moonlight Quilters of Sonoma County has a Fabric Exchange. Currently, we are exchanging Fat Quarters.
What you need to do to participate and possibly win all the fat quarters:
- Bring one or more fat quarters matching the month’s theme
- place it/them in the basket
- take one ticket for each fat quarter brought in
- put your name on the ticket/s
- place the ticket/s into the can
2 November 2011 – Batik — any color, any pattern
4 January 2012 – Polka Dots — any size, any color
1 February 2012 – Juvenile – cute animals, bears, toys, dolls, trucks, frogs, etc.
7 March 2012 - Fish and the Ocean – any fish and/or ocean fabric
4 April 2012 - Floral – any kind of flowers and flower prints
2 May 2012 – Geometric – squares, rectangles, circles (not dots), triangles
6 June 2012 – Stars –any size, any color
15 August 2012 – Sports – balls, bats, gloves, golf clubs, teams, etc.
5 September 2012 – Black on white or White on black prints
A HINT TO HELP YOU REMEMBER:
***** One helpful suggestion from a participant- pull your fat quarters right away and put them in the tote or bag you bring to the meetings and you will never “forget” them.*****
