Job Description

Program Chair

  • Work within the budget allotted for program.
  • Represent the guild by signing contracts with speakers.
  • Schedule speakers, workshops or other activities of interest.
  • Arrange facilities for workshops.
  • Begin scheduling with the December program. The October and November program will have been scheduled by the previous co-chairs. Programs are scheduled for July but not for April, August or September. Program Co-Chairs are also responsible for the December Holiday gathering.
  • Schedule future speakers with the consent of the Board.
  • Coordinate speakers with the Santa Rosa Day Guild, other guilds and local quilt shops if possible.
  • Arrange lodging for out-of-town speakers.
