Mini Groups are not a guild sponsored activity. However, many of our members have organized or joined a mini group as a way of forming closer relationships with fellow quilters while also learning more quilting skills and techniques. These small groups make their own decisions about how often, when and where to meet. Each group determines its own theme. Some groups gather once a month to help each other on projects. Others create challenge projects within the group similar to the guild's annual Challenge Quilts.

The guild will occasionally help members start a mini group by organizing a list of interested individuals.
