Job Description

Community Relations Chair

  • Coordinate participation in community-based projects (e.g., Adobe Days, baby quilts, etc.).
  • Serve as liaison with Sonoma County Fair and other county quilt guilds regarding coordination of fair activities, rules, meetings, etc.
  • Chair committee for ribbons and judging for our guild quilting awards (Sonoma County Fair, Citrus Fair, etc.).
  • Coordinate committee to evaluate grant requests.
  • Coordinate baby quilt project, which includes the purchasing/cutting of batting, the storing of finished quilts and arranging for presentation(s) by designated group(s).
